You need a total of 6 different materials to create Lafi Bedmountain's Upgraded Compass. Upgraded Compass Parts are core materials that share the same appearance when it is first obtained but its true shape can be revealed when they are identified by NPC Ain Greid at Ancient Fissure. The appearance of each Upgraded Compass Part depends on the monster that dropped it.
How to identify?
Visit NPC Ain Greid at Ancient Fissure, and choose the 'Ask him to appraise the parts' dialogue. This reveals the true icon of the items.
You can combine the parts without appraising the compass parts, but this feature makes your job easier when it comes to arranging the items.
Where to Grind the Upgraded Compass Parts
Since these items are rare items, you can boost your chance with buffs that gave you Drop Rate.
